Clarita Espana Funeral Plans is in the business of the creation and sale of pre-paid funeral plans in Spain.

1.6 WHAT PLANS DOES CLARITA ESPANA FUNERAL PLANS SELL?

1.6(a) CLARITY – Our essential plan designed for those seeking a highly functional direct solution.

1.6(b) CLARITY PLUS – Our essential plan for those seeking a highly functional direct solution and included either a religious or secular service.

1.6(c) TRANQUILITY  –  Our standard plan offering a wake to allow family and friends to pay their final respects.

1.6(d) SERENITY – Our premium plan designed for those that require a personalised farewell and includes a religious or secular ceremony, flowers and a wake,

1. HOW CAN YOU PURCHASE OUR PLANS?

1.7(a) SINGLE – One plan either paid in full or monthly.

1.7(b) JOINT – Two plans either paid for in full or monthly.

THE CLARITA ESPANA FUNERAL PLANS RANGE

2.1 CLARITY PLAN: WHAT IS INCLUDED

  • Collection of the deceased and transfer to an affiliated funeral home

  • Hygienic-sanitary treatment

  • Storage in refrigerated chamber for up to 24 hours

  • Coffin

  • Civil Registry paperwork

  • Funeral staff.

  • Hearse.

  • If a Cremation, it will take place in a partnered crematorium.

  • If a Cremation, an Urn is supplied.

  • If a Cremation, delivery of the urn to the family’s home.

  • Post-death paperwork.

Included: Choice of Privilege Collections.

2.2 CLARITY PLAN: WHAT IS NOT INCLUDED

Next of Kin cannot add products/services without extra charges paid directly to the Funeral Director.

  • Services for a Funeral Director not appointed by Clarita Espana.
  • Face to face appointments with the Funeral Director.
  • Viewing of the deceased.
  • Dressing in personal clothes or coffin items.
  • Family attendance at the crematorium.
  • Service at the crematorium or church costs.
  • Mortuary storage costs.
  • Choice of date, time, or location of cremation.
  • Repatriation from outside Spain.
  • Transfer between mainland and islands (Canary/Balearic).

3.1 CLARITY PLUS PLAN: WHAT IS INCLUDED

  • Collection of the deceased and transfer to an affiliated funeral home

  • Hygienic-sanitary treatment

  • Storage in refrigerated chamber for up to 24 hours

  • Coffin

  • Civil Registry paperwork

  • Funeral staff

  • Hearse

  • Ceremony (religious or secular) in a partnered funeral home within 30 km of the residence
  • If a cremation, it will take place in a partnered crematorium

  • If a Cremation , an urn is supplied

  • If a Cremation , delivery of the urn to the family’s home

  • Post-death paperwork

3.2 CLARITY PLUS PLAN: WHAT IS NOT INCLUDED

Next of Kin cannot add products/services without extra charges paid directly to the Funeral Director.

  • Services for a Funeral Director not appointed by Clarita Espana.
  • Face to face appointments with the Funeral Director.
  • Family attendance at the crematorium.
  • Mortuary storage costs.
  • Choice of date, time, or location of cremation.
  • Repatriation from outside Spain.
  • Transfer between mainland and islands (Canary/Balearic).
  • Additional products or services requested by either Next of Kin or family members.

4.1 TRANQUILITY PLAN: WHAT IS INCLUDED

  • Collection of the deceased and transfer to an affiliated funeral home.

  • Hygienic-sanitary treatment.

  • Storage in refrigerated chamber for up to 24 hours.

  • Coffin.

  • Civil Registry paperwork.

  • Funeral staff.

  • Hearse.

  • 24-hour wake room in a partnered funeral home within 30 km of the residence.

  • Cremation in a partnered crematorium
  • Urn

  • Delivery of the urn to the family’s home

  • Option to replace cremation with burial (does not include burial taxes, grave or niche rental)

  • Post-death paperwork

4.2 TRANQUILITY PLAN: WHAT IS NOT INCLUDED

Next of Kin cannot add products/services without extra charges paid directly to the Funeral Director.

  • Services for a Funeral Director not appointed by Clarita Espana.
  • Face to face appointments with the Funeral Director.
  • Family attendance at the crematorium.
  • Choice of date, time, or location of cremation.
  • Transfer between mainland and islands (Canary/Balearic)
  • Burial plot (land purchase).
  • Headstone, memorials, or maintenance.
  • Repatriation from outside Spain.
  • Additional products or services requested by either Next of Kin or family members.

5.1 SERENITY PLAN: WHAT IS INCLUDED

  • Collection of the deceased and transfer to an affiliated funeral home.

  • Hygienic-sanitary treatment.

  • Storage in refrigerated chamber for up to 24 hours.

  • Coffin.

  • Civil Registry paperwork.

  • Funeral staff.

  • Hearse.

  • 24-hour wake room in a partnered funeral home within 30 km of the residence
  • Ceremony (religious or secular) in a partnered funeral home within 30 km of the residence
  • Flower arrangement (standard “corona”)

  • If a Cremation , it will take place in a partnered crematorium

  • If a Cremation, an urn is supplied

  • If a Cremation, delivery of the urn to the family’s home

  • Post-death paperwork

5.2 SERENITY PLAN: WHAT IS NOT INCLUDED

Next of Kin cannot add products/services without extra charges paid directly to the Funeral Director.

 Transfer between mainland and islands (Canary/Balearic)

  • Transfer between mainland and islands (Canary/Balearic).
  • Burial plot (land purchase).
  • Headstone, memorials, or maintenance.
  • Repatriation from outside Spain.
  • Additional products or services requested by either Next of Kin or family members.

6. SPECIAL PLAN TYPES

6.1 JOINT PLANS: Two plans purchased together. 

7. PRIVILEGE COLLECTIONS OVERVIEW

7.1 PREMIER (Full Payers): 21-Day Consideration Period,  up to €50 Charity Donation, Annual Tree Planting, and entry to our ’12 Draws of Good Luck’.

7.2 CLASSIC (Monthly up to 60m): 21-Day Consideration Period, up to €20 Charity Donation and One Tree Planted.

7.3 STANDARD (Monthly 61-120m): 21-Day Consideration Period and One Tree Planted.

8. PAYMENT

Methods: Debit/Credit, Bank Transfer (Sabadell), or Monthly up to 10 years (interest-free).
Min Deposits: €500 per plan.
Missed Payments: unless agreed with Clarita Espana, 2 months arrears suspends plan and 3 months arrears leads to cancellation of plan and refund of payments made (less fees).

9. DATA PROTECTION (LOPD)

Governed by Spanish LOPD and EU GDPR. Principles include Lawfulness, Purpose Limitation, Data Minimization, Accuracy, Storage Limitation, Integrity, and Accountability.

10. CANCELLATION

10.1 INSIDE 21-DAYS: Full refund within 72 hours via email cancellation request. Day 1 is the day of creation.

10.2 OUTSIDE 21-DAYS: We do not accept cancellations.

11. COMPLAINTS

Email complaints to cliente@claritaespana.com. Please include your Name, Address, DOB, Plan No and specific nature of complaint. Acknowledgment within 7 days.

12. APPLICABLE LAWS

European Law applies, specifically the EC Consumer Rights Directive.
